Fan recreates 80's anime-style Star Wars trailer

“Star Wars: A New Hope” just won an 80's anime-style trailer. The video was created by youtuber Dmitri Grozov and features a Japanese voice acting voiceover and original film score. The images of the production refer to the main passages of history, but with that special charm that only the old drawings have.

Some characters have even gained different visual details, such as Chewbacca - which in this case appears with an oriental-style mustache. To quell curiosity, the nostalgic movie is available on YouTube and can be viewed below.

Of course, viewers of the video are already asking for the full story of "A New Hope, " as well as those of other episodes. Some even point out that the format is reminiscent of eighteenth-century anime, such as "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" and "War of the Galaxies" (Macross).

At least, this will not be the last time Star Wars will be portrayed in this way. Disney will release an anime-style series in October titled "Star Wars Resistance." It will be available on its major channels and will be set before the events of 2015's Force Awakening. Perhaps this is also a way to compensate for the fact that the company may stop releasing movies of the saga annually after the failure. "Han Solo: A Star Wars Story" box office.
