Top 10 safest cities in the world

Health, infrastructure, safety, education ... All this is essential for a place to be considered safe. It stands to reason that some stand out, since there is no comparison between first-world municipalities and cities of underdeveloped countries. Unfortunately, not everyone has an acceptable level of security, as is the right of every citizen.

Mega Curioso released the list of the safest countries in the world in 2013. Now that has changed, and the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has ranked 50 of the world's largest cities, with 2014 as its base year. As expected, Brazil does not have a good place in this ranking. Check out the top 10 with us.

01 - Tokyo

According to the EIU list, Tokyo is the safest city in the world, ranking first in all categories.
