Human face can be a great musical instrument

Those who like music, art, technology and experimentation should know The Creators Project, a festival that even has a Brazilian edition in which Tecmundo has been present covering the event. For it is from this same project that comes the impressive video above, in which we can see the artist Daito Manabe producing music in very unusual ways.

To begin with, Manabe connects sensors to the faces of various volunteers who produce electronic music with their own facial movements, that is, wiggling eyebrows, lips, cheeks, and other regions of the face.

In a second moment, Manabe joins DJs Wieden and Kennedy Tokyo to produce Nike Music Shoe, which has the ability to generate sounds when manipulated. It is a lot of fun to watch musicians tapping pairs of shoes to create the perfect base.

As if that weren't enough, Daito Manabe also produces music by moving robots or mechanized arms, and has produced amazing shows in which artists interacted with holograms and animations, as if capable of producing a true video clip in real time.
