Rare Phenomenon Shapes Superbane Clouds in the Grand Canyon [Video]

Not that the Grand Canyon needs anything to make it even more fascinating, but once or twice a year, a rare inversion of temperatures causes clouds to form almost instantly and fill the canyons of the place.

The visual sensation is that the canyon is sinking into clouds, and that same clouds are suddenly palpable. The phenomenon occurs when cold air comes out of the ground and when it comes up, it encounters hot air - this can happen up to twice a year, but it is not always that the sky is clear to the point where it contributes even more to the landscape.
