GoPro Records Formation, Displacement and Joining of Two Tornadoes [Video]

Right here at TecMundo you may have seen amazing and scary videos recorded with GoPro cameras - equipment that has gained popularity for its endurance, being widely used for the record of extreme sports.

But this time the captured images do not report tumbles, maneuvers or feats on bikes, skateboards, motorcycles, skis or surfboards. The scenes you see below are the formation, detachment, and joining of two tornadoes.

What is most striking about this shoot is the destructive power of this kind of natural phenomenon while it is capable of generating beautiful images. Tornadoes were recorded on June 16 this year as they passed through Pilger, Nebraska, USA.

Publishing by Reed Timmer: Meteorologist and Extreme Storm Chaser.

The makers of the video were Dick McGowan and Shay Phillips, both storm chasers. So don't try to do this kind of recording yourself and we don't have to say what the risks are.
