They have launched a book that talks only about fuming and non-feral animals.

If, during one of your philosophical daydreams, you ever wondered if all living creatures fart, but you haven't come up with an answer, you will soon be able to answer all your Animal Kingdom flatulence questions. That's because, according to Ryan F. Mandelbaum of Gizmodo, researcher Daniella Rabaiotti and Nick Caruso have decided to release the book "Does it Fart?" - or simply "Fart?" and we hope you get here in Brazil.

Nature Machine Guns

And where did the idea of writing an entire book about Puns come from? According to Daniela, who holds a doctorate from University College London and is a member of the London Zoological Society, both in England, it all started with a tweet. Or rather… it all started when someone from the researcher's family asked her if the snakes were gasping, and Daniela couldn't answer.

Rhinos fart

Yes, rhinos fart (Vox / Ethan Kocak)

That's when, according to Ryan, the researcher realized how little we know about Digestion in the Animal Kingdom - and her tweet turned into a fascinating collaborative table. So she joined forces with her colleague, Nick, to gather a lot of interesting information and launch the book. But then, do snakes do or don't fart? Yes! And depending on the species, it can be really “toxic” ( tudum-tsss ).

And the gorillas? THE! And when they eat figs, the gases are really violent - so much so that some scientists are guided by noise to locate the animals in the forest. The tapirs? Uhum ... quite wide. Blue whales live up to the size of these mammals and are really long and huge, although flatulence has been caught on rare occasions.

Dogs, on the other hand, everyone knows they fart, but not everyone knows that brown bears release gases, as do cockroaches and centipedes. And the spiders? Well look, nobody knows, just like the salamanders! And then there are creatures who use farts to communicate, as is the case with certain fish, and those who are simply produce flatus, such as sea anemones and sloths. Sea cucumbers do not fart, but there are species of fish - from the Carapidae family - that not only live on their genitals, but feed on them!
