New Star Wars Coming Here: Check out the Canonical Summary of Jedi Returns Here

Here comes the next chapter of the Star Wars saga. "The Last Jedi" debuts this week on national territory. Since the franchise's "Force Awakening" resumption, Disney has included - and excluded - much in the canon, recounting everything that happened after "The Return of the Jedi." And you, are you aware of what's new in this universe? The folks at io9 have done that beautiful sweeping work on books, movies, games, animations and what else has come out in the last few years, and we summarize it here, for everyone to get to the inside of the whole story.

The events presented below cover the period immediately after "Return of the Jedi" and show what happened to all the pieces in play during the fall of the Empire. They also reveal what happened in 30 years, until "The Awakening of Force" - with the proper titles in which they were displayed (when there is no translation, it is because it has not yet arrived in Brazil).

For readability, let's standardize the calendar with the abbreviations “ABY / DBY”, meaning “Before the Battle of Yavin / After the Battle of Yavin”. That is, the timeline will be counted according to this passage of time, starting from "A New Hope". For example, "Return of the Jedi" happens after 4 years, so it will be represented by 4 DBY. "The Awakening of Force" 30 years later, 30 DBY, and so on.

But beware: there are a lot of spoilers down here, so if you haven't seen all the movies yet or just don't care about the stories parallel to the main narrative, then you better read another time.
