The distorted and distorted world of Slit-Scan [video]

The technique called Slit-Scan was originally used in photographs, becoming well known for causing the deformity of images. Now such a possibility is also available for video production - the Slit-Scan Video application (for Apple computers) faithfully follows the technique and makes any images look weird and deformed.

The result can be seen in the video above, where common scenes of our daily lives - like traffic, people walking etc. - get bizarre and distorted shapes, all caused by the simulation of the Slit-Scan photographic technique.
