Patient 0: game transports you through the zombie apocalypse

Experiences that carry a zombie apocalypse to real life are not exactly new, but a game called Patient 0 wants to take it to another level. Developed by the IRL Shooter company, the game places participants amid an abandoned meat factory, where they find themselves surrounded by actors playing the putrid creatures.

The company is working with weapon manufacturers to adapt toy guns to the M4 machine gun format. In addition to gaining a more accurate aiming system, devices must have a system that can realistically reproduce the kick of each shot and stereo speakers that simulate the sounds of real equipment.

All accessories will be connected to a central computer, which will calculate the amount of ammunition used, the number of headshots and any shots fired at other humans. Patient 0 will also feature a well-defined story arc in which participants will have to fulfill certain goals to escape the scene alive.

All the money IRL Shooter used to fund the project was raised through the Pozible website, a service similar to Kickstarter. The game is expected to start October 31 this year in the city of Melbourne, Australia - those interested in participating in the game will have to pay $ 125 for the ticket.
