For the first time in history, dog gets four bionic legs

Have you heard of Naki'o? He is the first dog to receive prostheses for all four legs. It all started when the little animal was born in a desert region in Nebraska, USA, and fell asleep in a puddle. When night fell, the puddle froze, and beside it Naki'o's paws, as well as his nose and a piece of his tail. He lost all the ends of his paws, leaving only the upper portions. That same night the mother of the puppies died.

Fortunately, an NGO received the information that there were abandoned puppies in that region and the puppies were soon taken to the institution's headquarters, where they received the necessary treatments. Naki'o was the dog with the most physical trauma, so a young woman named Christie Pace, who had previously worked as a vet assistant, decided to help find a family for the dog.

In the middle of the process Christie decided to adopt the little animal and has since taken care of him. With his four legs in half, Naki'o had trouble walking, and when he did, he was in great pain. This was all solved when the dog owner found a way to improve the pet's life.

A company specializing in prosthetics for this type of situation has designed four mechanical legs for Naki'o, who can now walk painlessly and without much difficulty. If you want to know more about the dog's history, watch the video below.
