Playboy publishes its first nudity-free Snapchat-inspired edition

What do Playboy readers expect to find when flipping through the magazine? Economy reports? Articles about the political crisis? Zika surveys? Of course not, right! Deep down, deep down, what they want to see are naked women! For the first time in 62 years, the publication released an issue without any nude photos.

To further add surprise to fans of the magazine, rather than the usual over-produced covers, the one that will hit the US newsstands in March 2016 was inspired by Snapchat. According to Dan Good of New York Daily News, the picture is the American model Sarah McDaniel, famous for having a genetic anomaly called heterochromia that makes her have an eye of each color.

Changes

According to Dan, in fact Playboy has been losing readers for some time, and one reason would be the large availability of pornographic material on the Internet. The decision not to publish nude photos was announced last year and, as Sarah explained, the idea of editing without nude women is to explore the beauty of models in a more intimate way - as if a man were enjoying her own sensual photos. girlfriend.

Sarah is not the only beauty to illustrate the pages of the March issue of the magazine. In addition, the publication will feature Dree Hemingway - daughter of Mariel Hemingway, who posed for the magazine in 1982 - and US model Myla Dalbesio. As we said, the publication will hit newsstands next month, and Playboy Without Nudity will be officially presented during the company's annual party to celebrate the start of Super Bowl 2016 - set for February 7th.

Brazilian version

Here in Brazil, the new edition of Playboy hits newsstands in April and, according to the portal O Estado de S. Paulo, who will appear on the cover is Luana Piovani. According to her, the magazine now encourages women to conduct photo shoots as they see fit and allows them to decide whether or not they want to appear naked in photos. With that, although there is still a lot of sensuality in the images, what changes is the public “look” on the models.

If the US version's decision to strip your pages of nudity has left you disappointed, don't be sad. Here in Brazil, models will be able to choose the photographer, the subject of the rehearsals and show what they like - and Luana Piovani has warned that she wants to appear naked in her photos.
