Calculating

The guys were able to do this calculation after a lot of research. The first curiosity revealed is that the name Tetris is a mixture of tetromino (geometric shape formed by four orthogonally joined squares) and tennis (the sport, not the footwear). The idea of the game was introduced in the 1950s, but became popular even a few decades later.

Once they found out what the Tetris piece actually was, it was now lacking to know the sizes of each piece, since as they existed only virtually, it was difficult to calculate how much they measured or weighed, for example.

They realized that the ideal would be to create a small comparison scale to start doing the math, something like the size each piece seems to be on the game screen. And then, considering smaller measurements, a piece would have dimensions smaller than 1 cm in the physical world. Who wants to try?
