Record! Bowling player makes 10 consecutive strikes from the back [video]

For many, bowling is not as simple as it sounds. It is hard to explain what mystery causes the ball - which was thrown right in the middle of the track - to (almost) always stop in one of the side channels, which inevitably causes the ten pins to stay there intact.

For others, bowling is a sport and like any other sport, it requires technique and a lot of training to make beautiful strikes and get good scores. But this is true when bowling in the traditional way. What American Andrew Cowen does with a bowling ball in his hand can only be magic.

Proof of this is the video he released this week on Record Setter to prove his amazing track skills. Back to back - ie without looking! - the player throws the ball and manages to kill all the pins that appear before him. If you doubt it, check out the video below and count the ten consecutive strikes Cowen can do, I repeat, from his back!

The achievement earned the Illinois player the world record for the highest score ever recorded in a back-to-back bowling match. The previous record belonged to Jim Cripps, who had 278 points, and was beaten by Cowen and his 280 points.

Does anyone out there qualify to try to overcome the American's achievement?
