The robot, capable of carrying loads of up to 22 kg, was developed by a local startup called Woowa Broithers Corp., responsible for a popular food delivery application called Baedal Minjok. Some time ago, a chain restaurant in Singapore used a Pepper robot from Japanese firm SoftBank Robotics for two weeks to pick up orders from customers, but the experience was not very satisfactory.
