Tumblr honors faces of established guitarists ... with slugs!

The internet is a true basin of virtual souls with genius ideas, as well as a lot of uselessness, of course. On illustrious Tumblr, one of the most widely used blogging platforms around the globe, you come across some unusual pages and links, such as the illustrious “Slug Solos”.

The page came up with a mind-boggling idea: it selected some pictures of famous guitarists making faces as they got excited about their six string maidens and mixed it with slugs! But how? Simple, replacing each of their guitars with an image of a giant, gooey slug.

Among the guitarists chosen for the play are true rock icons such as Keith Richards, Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young, James Hetfield, Eddie Van Halen, Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen, BB King, among others. We selected 15 images:
