See what happens when 13 children's drawings come true

If there is a place where creativity rolls wild is in the fertile imagination of children. But this abundant source of ideas is increasingly threatened by the diminishing of arts teaching in school curricula. To encourage them to give vent to their artistic skills, a group of artists came together to create The Monster Project.

The action aims to bring to life the monsters drawn by the little ones, making the most of the way they conceived them. After the professionals' versions were finalized, the drawings were returned to the children so that they could appreciate the result of recreating their works. Here's what some of them look like:
