10 Girl Power Teachings Left by Spice Girls
It seems like yesterday, but it's been 20 years since we stuck to the small screen waiting for the Spice Girls' Wannabe video. I know it's a long time but you still remember the "I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna really really wanna zigazig ah", right?
In honor of the clip and the girls this week, the song was turned into a feminist anthem by the UN! In an amazing video, women from all over the world talk about gender equality, including the end of any form of sexual violence, the inclusion of women in political and economic life, among others.
Taking the moment, we decided to share 10 girl power teachings left by this wonderful group:
1. Female union
We know that keeping a group with completely different people, living all the time, is not easy. Even so, it was very important to follow the journey of five girls with distinct personalities, who respected each other's space and managed to support them all to shine. All were unique, special, and each had its own space.

Long before all these discussions about female empowerment and gender equality on the internet, the Spice was screaming at the four winds how important this is! It was almost a mantra: girls, be yourselves, you are strong and amazing!

Women, since when do we need to fight for nothing? Pull that girl to the middle of the dance floor, even if you don't know her, and have fun together!
4. Behavior? No, thank you
Who says girls have to be behaved, quiet and submissive? The Spice, of course, no!
5. Honey B's hair and style
Can you see the importance of showing a woman with this powerful black power on television? How much did this inspire many girls to abandon the curling iron and proudly adopt the curls?
6. Your own style
By the way, this is another important point: in the 1990s, it was common for groups - both female and male - to dress in similar ways, sometimes even in uniforms. This was not the case with the Spice, each had its own personality and showed it when it came to dressing and behaving.
7. Powerful Statements

Also, in "If you wanna be my lover you gotta get with my friends", they talk about the importance of maintaining their friendships! No man is worth the distance of his friends.
10. Positivity
In Spice up your life, girls say that if you are feeling sad and depressed all you have to do is be positive, smile and dance! Everything is permitted! So turn on a song from our favorite and cheerful group your night!
