9 situations where human representations left us standing up

Have you heard of the Strange Valley? Also known as Uncanny Valley, this effect is the hypothesis that human replicas that look almost, but not quite, like real human beings elicit sinister feelings of disgust (or strangeness) among observers. Do you know that fear of dolls, dummies, robots that - to us - look weird? So this is the Valley of Strangeness.
