Do you sleep well or have problems with sleep? The tired look of constant bad nights can hurt your health and beauty too much. Research from Sweden has shown that sleep deprived people look sadder, sicker and less attractive.

So if you are looking to look and look healthier, it is good to pay attention to your sleep. The researchers stated that these characteristics shown by those who do not sleep well may even influence how others treat them.

To conduct the study, a team from the University of Stockholm photographed people on two occasions: after a good night's sleep and after 31 hours awake. Subsequently, the images were evaluated by other individuals, who categorized them as tired, sad and attractive.

What's up?

The results of the sleepless look are nothing new. They have shown that people's eyes become red and swollen, they develop dark circles, drooping eyelids, paleness, wrinkles and drooping corners of the mouth.

Tina Sundelin, the research leader commented, "Faces contain a great deal of information on which humans base their interactions. When a person looks tired, it can affect how others behave towards her."

In this tired situation, the researchers found that other people are more understanding of who they are. However, they also noted that a tired-looking person becomes more vulnerable.
