Farmers kill "fat" snake and find out it was full of eggs

A group of Nigerians killed a giant snake thinking it had devoured a calf from a local farmer because of its exorbitant size. As soon as the animal was killed, its body was opened and, to everyone's surprise, the snake was actually with dozens of eggs inside.

In the region, snake eggs are considered a rare delicacy, so the death of the "pregnant woman" turned out to be a great surprise for the men who hunted the animal.

The species of the snake has not yet been revealed, but it is known that some can carry up to a hundred eggs inside. The death of the animal ended up garnering many comments from netizens: while some condemned the act, many said the hunt prevented at least a hundred of these reptiles from being born and could threaten the locals in some way.

The point is that many of these huge snakes, like the python, are not poisonous and kill their prey by suffocation, thanks to the force of their bites. These animals usually feed on large rodents, monkeys, antelopes, bats, lizards, crocodiles, goats and may even eat large feline cubs such as leopards and lions.
