Walking the longest suspension bridge in the world goes beyond your imagination

If you are an adrenaline junkie, then get ready to be on the heights! At 494 meters long and 86 meters high at its highest point, the world's largest pedestrian suspension bridge opened in July this year in the Swiss Alps. Charles Kuonen, which is part of the Europabrücke (Bridge Europe) trail, was built in just 10 weeks in Switzerland and connects the villages of Zermatt with Graechen. Passers by can enjoy panoramic views of some of the highest peaks in the south of the European country, including the famous Mount Matterhorn, Weisshorn Mountain and the Bernese Alps.

Adventurers crossing the bridge can enjoy panoramic views of some of Switzerland's highest peaks, including Mount Matterhorn.

The bridge, which takes 10 minutes to cross, reduces trips that would take about three to four hours. The cables that hold it weigh eight tons and are equipped with a safety system that prevents the bridge from swinging. Want more adrenaline? 1 - Zhangjiajie Canyon, China

Opened last year in southern China's Hunan Province, the 430-meter-long bridge suspended 300 meters above the Zhangjiajie Canyon allows visitors to gaze into the gulf through its transparent panels scattered along its path.

Also located in China, the glass walkway opened in July last year, on the 88th floor of Shanghai's Jinmao Tower, has a height of 340 meters and allows visitors to walk around the building above a glass floor with a width of 1.2 meters only.

In 2014, a 439-meter-long "skywalk" was built in Russia as part of the Sochi SkyPark, located in the northeast of the former host city of the Winter Olympics. Known as the "longest walkway in the world" at the time, SkyBridge includes two observation decks, each offering panoramic views of the mountains and Black Sea coast, while the bravest visitors can bungee jump from these decks. one measuring 67 meters and the other 200 meters high.
