True champagnes are naturally refined beverages. When the sophistication of the drink meets the richness of gold, the result can only be an extremely luxurious product. And that's exactly what Louis Roederer - specializing in high-end drinks - sought to create an exclusive edition of their champagnes.

In all, 400 bottles in limited edition were produced. The drink has one of the most distinctive flavors ever produced by the winery and has its vintage dating back to 2002. But what is most striking is a series of 200 bottles that gained an even more special touch and had their packaging plated in gold.

To further enhance the product, Louis Roederer has chosen to decorate its bottles by hand with a unique and innovative design that reveals all its beauty when placed against the light. Each package took at least 4 days to complete and it took the skill of 12 artisans to work 24 carat gold.

Both luxury and exclusivity could only have a high price tag. Each of the special gold-packaged Louis Roederer champagnes - which has already reached the rank of collector's item - is selling for $ 26, 000, which amounts to more than $ 50, 000. In this edition, only 200 bottles were produced, but, according to the website Born Rich, the company said it should produce another 200 champagnes with the same glamor soon.
