Courage! World's fastest roller coaster hits 240 km / h

When you think of speed, probably (and very fast) the image of a Ferrari should come to mind. In addition to the super-fast cars, the brand also has the fastest roller coaster on the planet in its theme park in Abu Dhabi. Formula Rossa, promises to be quite an adventure and reaches the mark of 240 kilometers per hour in just 4.9 seconds.

The power is so high that to ride the "toy" you need to wear safety glasses the entire journey that lasts only 60 seconds (also very fast). To ensure all this speed, the roller coaster uses the same propulsion system as the aircraft carrier, and the engineers responsible for the project have upgraded all other systems to ensure speed and excitement from start to finish.

The Ferrari roller coaster was inaugurated in 2010 and the debut lap was for the team riders (at the time) Fernando Alonso and Kimmi Raikkonen. Accustomed to high speed, they say that Alonso was able to have fun on the way, while Raikkonen seemed bored. Maybe Rossa Mountain is not for everyone unless you are a Formula 1 driver.

Sovereignty Threatened

Although Ferrari still has the fastest roller coaster title in the world, everything could change in 2023, when Six Flags plans to open a roller coaster in Saudi Arabia that would be the longest and tallest on the planet.
