Challenge Accepted: Van Damme Outperforms Chuck Norris with Spacecraft [Video]

In the days of the internet we are in, it is possible to say with certain certainty that nothing that is done remains unanswered. Want an example? Just remember that Volvo commercial with actor Jean-Claude Van Damme that went viral on the internet and ended up here at Mega Curioso (click here to refresh the memory), in which he made an impressive split on top of two Real trucks.

A few weeks later, the internet was not cheap and another video came up (we also talk about here), this time made in computer graphics, in which the myth Chuck Norris appears repeating the feat, but raising the challenge to an absurd new level: he It balances on the wings of two planes in flight, with a team of acrobatic skydivers making a human Christmas tree over their heads. Unsurpassed? Maybe not.

Now it is Van Damme's turn to raise the difficulty of the whole scheme to - almost literally - stratospheric levels. In the following video, we see the Belgian actor playing his epic spacecraft under zero gravity, balancing on at least two orbiting satellites.

Controversial origins

Jokes aside, the new video was produced by Chinese designer and director Linh Mai, who has been the subject of some controversy over a project at Kickstarter 2011. He launched a $ 50, 000 funding campaign for the production of a science fiction movie called “The Last Cause” (click here to access the crowdfunding campaign page).

The goals have been met, but the movie has not been made so far. According to Mai, the feature was put on ice because of a driving opportunity he received from a US studio. For him, the new work deserves priority for being able to give more "resources, support and legitimacy" to "The Last Cause". Still, many of the 609 supporters are dissatisfied and threaten to sue the director.
