Little girl is found living with monkeys in jungle of India

Sometimes life imitates art almost surreally: in "Mogli - The Jungle Book, " a little boy grows up in the woods being raised by wolves; Now this story really seems to have happened in India. The only difference is that the child, a seemingly 8-year-old girl, was being cared for by a flock of monkeys.

She was nicknamed Mogli Girl and must have spent a lot of time living alone, as she can't understand any language and gets quite scared when many people visit her. The rescue came two months ago when police officer Suresh Yadav was patrolling the Bahraich jungle in the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary area.

Yadav spotted the girl surrounded by monkeys and tried to get closer to see what was happening. Quickly, both the girl and the animals began to scream in fright at the policeman's presence. He managed to remove the primates and rescue the child, who was taken to a hospital, where he remains today.

She had very tousled hair and clawlike nails. At the hospital, she often has tantrums. She also usually eats and walks like animals. Doctors and authorities have no idea of Mogli Girl's identity yet, but they are happy that her behavior is becoming less aggressive and her appearance healthier.
