Group turns old Volvo into Lamborghini imitation of $ 4.8 million

If you were looking for clear proof that appearances can be deceiving, then you may end your search here. The image you see above may look like a Lamborghini Sesto Element (believe me, that's the way it is written), the $ 2 million supercar, but it's just a simple 30-year-old Volvo 740 - after receiving a $ 15, 000 make-up, of course.

The group of modifiers did the work in a small garage and lives in Bisqueque, the capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan, neighboring China. For ease of comparison, below you can see how both legitimate cars look in their original versions without any changes.

The home-made version of Lamborghini is made with a specially designed metal housing, carbon fiber and acrylic glass. According to the English Russia website, Volvo's wheels were replaced with those of a BMW X5 and required the team to make many supercar designs to base their copy on, as they had no access to the real vehicle. The end result has its differences, but still very close to the original.

Sweet illusion

The whole process took three months to complete, which is certainly less time than it takes to turn $ 15, 000 into $ 2 million (no lottery win, of course). The only caveat is that, as the creation is only a replica, it is impossible to get in and drive, leaving only photos next to the beauty. So, do you think a Lamborghini is worth more in the garage than a Volvo in the streets? Leave your opinion in the comments.
