The 66-year-old Indian Kailash Singh has nearly two meters of dreadlocks that have not been washed for 38 years and lives in a place that can reach up to 47 ° Celsius. And it is because of so much heat, sweat and hair that this gentleman is considered by many to be the stinkiest man in the world.

The radical decision not to go underwater was made by the Indian in the 1970s, shortly after he was married. At the time, a priest of the religion followed by Singh stated that he should not even wash or cut his hair so that he could have a child.

Singh has taken the advice fervently, and it has been more than three decades without washing his hair - and without taking a shower. Despite all his efforts, the Indian is the father of seven daughters and has no son. Therefore, he states that he will only wash his body if he ever gets an heir.

Singh's wife, Kalavati Devi, says she had a hard time getting used to the scent of her husband and that the whole family has tried to get the patriarch to dive into a nearby river - but Singh managed to break free and escape, stating that he would rather die than take a shower.
