Amazing! Tourist records phenomenon that makes the sea water bright

Have you ever wondered how amazing it would be to be walking along a beach at night and suddenly realize that the waters that come to your feet are colorful and neon? Well, as bizarre and impossible as this may sound, the above description is true and was spotted by tourists in the Maldives - would you buy the tickets?

Flickr user hala065 was responsible for these amazing images of little blue dots shining on the shore. This type of phenomenon occurs due to the presence of bioluminescent plankton, such as some types of algae, which can be found in several regions.

The recently released photos also show another feature of bioluminescent plankton: it also reacts under pressure; that is, when someone walks over them, the toes are in a way you may never have seen before.
