My Lovely Kitchen

In the previous post, I told how I started to enjoy cooking and where my concern (and the taste, of course) in preparing my own food came from. I didn't think it was going to be a “special” text, but in the face of so many positive comments my friends made, it became one of my favorite posts.

I looked even more fondly at my kitchen these days and realized one thing: as a result of my new interest, my kitchen also changed. When I came to live in this house four and a half years ago, this was just another room. Today, however, I can see that my kitchen has a soul.

Of course she only has soul because I started putting in the space around me a little of what I find beautiful, what I like and interest me. For this post, I've separated some of the most meaningful items in my kitchen that make me want to cook more food.

My Lovely Kitchen

I have been in love with this cookware since I saw it on the Tramontina fanpage. I participated in several raffles and swore that "now go", but it was not. Until my boyfriend gave me the most beautiful pans in the world on June 12th!

I know it is customary to make jokes with gift pans, but I really wanted this set. I even pity to use and spoil (every little scratch hurts my heart), but he has promised to give me a new game when it gets very ugly.

Since these pans are so pretty to hide in the closet, I bought some wall hooks, asked the girlfriend to put the nails in and that's it: now they're part of the decor - and I think they fit in well with the colorful tile strip.

In addition to the pans, I also got the large cutlery, which has a bird drawn on the handle. Imagine my happiness when I found this hook with a couple of birds!

Flamenco

Of course my kitchen needed to have some details regarding Flamenco, which appears on the apron (which I got from my brother, straight from Spain), the frying pan and the bailas magnet.

Of these, only the magnet is exposed, because the other two do not match the rest of the decoration and already have something more hanging on the walls, right?

Grandma's Cup

This cup is part of my grandmother's old house game, which she put on the table when I was a child. Now she uses another game, but for me this is the most special one.

She didn't quite understand why I wanted a rep, but I think she'll be happy when she visits me.

Gifts

This bowl, saucer and mug game is the “Rose Garden Snack Kit” (the name is pretty self-explanatory). I had seen it in a store and loved it, because I love little flowers; weeks later, on my birthday, my boyfriend gave it to me! I guarantee that even the lighter soup is delicious in this beautiful bowl.

The glove to take the hot platters from the oven was a gift from my brother - he swears he didn't want to send any subliminal messages, but even if he wanted to, I would still find it funny (the glove, of course).

One of the cutest items in the kitchen: the tea fishermen. My boyfriend (again!) Went to Taiwan and brought these two dolls that are holding the thread of the bag. I put them both in the same cup just to take the picture; The most charming is to have tea accompanied and serve with the garnish.

Little bucket

This little bucket was originally a container where I left the basil pot. As the basil died and the bills were scattered across the kitchen counter, I solved the problem by storing the papers in it.

...

Of course my kitchen is not one of those wonderful ones that appear on home décor sites, but in the impossibility of having a farm kitchen with “more walls” to hang things up, it's worth investing in those details.
