[Nude] Object: Check out a photo shoot that is giving you something to talk about

If someone asked you to choose an object that symbolizes your own sex - and here we refer to your sexual organ - which object would you choose? This decision reflects the way people see themselves and, from this interesting idea, the photographer Daniel Fama decided to create an essay in which he clicked several individuals completely naked next to items that, in his opinion, represented their sexes.

The project - named [Nu] Objeto - took place in Brasilia during June, and was attended by 50 people from the city, including anonymous artists, artists, musicians and performers. And, in addition to this whole gang being photographed totally without clothes and with the chosen objects, one of the focus of the essay was to escape the stereotype of perfect bodies and to reveal nudity honestly and fun.

The production was made by Josuel Junior - from the Cia. Fábrica de Teatro - DF - and the participants were clicked by Daniel Fama while freely interacting with their symbolic objects. In addition, the images have not been digitally corrected, and show marks or scars on the model bodies.

In total, the photo shoot took 30 hours to complete, resulting in 50 curious images that reflect participants' perceptions of their own bodies and with a good dose of humor. Of these 50 photographs, 25 will be chosen to participate in an exhibition at the Dulcina de Moraes Art Gallery - located in the center of the capital - and should take place in the second half of this year.

The images you saw throughout this article are part of the curious collection, and you can check out more interesting clicks in the gallery below. By the way, dear reader, be sure to share in the comments your answer to the question we asked at the very beginning of the news: which object would you choose to symbolize your gender?
