An overdose of Rube Goldberg machines

Here's a beautiful Japanese children's program that ... Well, maybe it's not that childish. After all, who has never been dazzled by one of the crazy things called “Golderb Rube Machines”? They are balls that push rods that roll cylinders that activate minicatapults that throw one more ball and so on.

The name was named after the inventor, Rube Goldberg, a most multifaceted fellow - he was a cartoonist, sculptor, engineer, author of books, and so on. Here's the proposal: Perform an incredibly simple task in the longest and most elaborate way possible. As if a “materialized prolixity” is worth saying.

Anyway, check out the video above for a real overdose of Goldberg Rube Machines. It is likely, however, that after the first 5 minutes you will no longer be able to hear the jolly “Pythagora Switch!”.
