Disney princesses like you've never seen before

From an early age, the kids are used to watching the cartoons of one of the biggest companies in the movie world: The Walt Disney Company. You have probably seen a feature of them at least - even after you have grown up, you can't deny the past.

Among its numerous characters - heroes, queens, witches, enemies etc. - Princesses have always been featured in virtually every story told. However, for a long time they maintained a certain pattern in their facial features and clothing: too pompous, with similar dresses and especially without any racial diversification.

After many years, Disney tried to innovate in this ethnic aspect and was well received by critics in The Princess and the Frog (2009), innovating by introducing a really black princess (Tiana) - this is the first time this has happened in the history of Studios Disney

For those who want to see even more diversity in their cast of princesses, one of Tumblr's artists (Adam Ellis) Let There Be Doodles has modified some of the world's most beloved maidens by innovating in their ethnic diversity. Check out the result:

Egyptian Megara (in Hercules)

Fixed idea

African Jasmine (in Aladdin)

Pocahontas Roman

Tiana (in The Princess and the Frog) white

Aurora (in Sleeping Beauty) black

Muslim Beauty (in Beauty and the Beast)

Japanese cinderella

Ariel (in The Little Mermaid) Indian
