Man photographs ominous figure inside abandoned vessel

Imagine that you get on a completely deserted ship, without anyone on board, and start clicking some pictures here, others there. Later, when you start reviewing the images on your camera, you realize that in one of them there is a very - very - sinister figure looking straight at you. But wait ... weren't you on a deserted ship?

For a very similar story was told by a Reddit user named stevgoldhound who, as he explained, is dedicated to repairing and renovating vessels. While working on a ship in a dry dock - that is, with the boat out of the water - a military frigate was taken to the same place for disassembly, and its parts scrapped. See below:

According to stevgoldhound, after two weeks of being completely abandoned on the dock and having all the important material removed from the dock, the site foreman went poking around with a flashlight and a camera in his hands. The man clicked about 200 photos, and forwarded them all to the dockmaster - who soon realized that one of the images showed a man with an ax in his hand. Check out:

As it turns out, while searching the inside of the frigate, the foreman found no living soul inside. Besides, when he stopped to take a picture, he turned off the flashlight and was in complete darkness - he thought!

It will be?

Because it was a military vessel, the authorities were immediately called and, although the police carried out a full search, no one was found. Investigators also reviewed the security camera images, and no people were seen leaving the frigate after the foreman's visit. In fact, it would be relatively difficult to get in or out without being seen, considering that this individual would have to overcome a height of 25 meters.

So who would be the sinister figure that supposedly appears in the image? Both stevgoldhound and the foreman are not the type to believe in ghosts or souls, and they have ensured that such a photo has not been manipulated. In fact, when he posted his story on Reddit, stevgoldhound asked someone who knew how to work with image editors to try to make it clearer, and the result is the following:

So, dear reader, what is your opinion about this story? Do you have any guesses as to what the sinister picture might be? Believe me to be a person - really flesh and blood! - who managed to get in and out of the frigate unseen? Or perhaps an optical illusion caused by the flash or a problem with the camera lens?
