Lino Villaventura - Winter 2012

Without following trends and always focused on ostentation and exaggeration, the collection of party dresses of Lino Villaventura brings a gothic climate already seen on other catwalks for this season. Baroque and dazzled, the parade began to be applauded right in the middle, continuing with applause from the impressed audience to the end.

The fabrics are noble, such as organza, pure silk taffeta, musseline, silk gauze, velvet and tulle. Metallic strands, rubberized jersey and golden silk also appear, mainly in shades of black, red, nude and ocher.

They are rich, detailed and very bright embroidery, brocades and a lot of volume. In addition to the long, the cocktail dresses are also successful. Pleated and ribbed fabrics also appear in several pieces, and according to the designer himself, the highlights of this collection are modeling and moulage work.

The models wear crowns on their heads, and royal-style cloaks sport the collection even more. Some equally exaggerated masculine looks are also shown. The most sporting touch of the collection is a wedding dress with mullet hem and zipper.
