Tragedy for Jack Sparrow Fans: The Wreck of the Black Pearl [video]

Due to the immense box office success around the globe, it's rare to find anyone who doesn't know about the famous Pirates of the Caribbean movie series and its illustrious characters, starting with the hilarious and fumbling captain Jack Sparrow - a character actor Johnny Depp felt in skin.

Of course, we cannot ignore the fame of the boat that led the adventures in the four saga films (so far, because one more comes in 2015), the almighty Black Pearl. Many people still do not know that it really exists, that is, it existed: the famous ship sank a few weeks ago in the Antilles Sea - while on its way to Santa Lucia, where a minor problem would be fixed - in northern Venezuela.

The odd thing is that no one knows for sure what really happened to the giant boat to wreck it from time to time, but many suspect the Black Pearl's advanced age - 60 years active in the waters of the Blue Planet.

He measured more than 45 meters, was erected in Finland in 1948, and his real-life name was "The Brig Unicorn". Prior to becoming a Hollywood star, the famous boat carried cargo in Caribbean waters. After a while, it became a tourist attraction - because of its peculiar appearance, reminiscent of the boats used by real pirates - reaching the big screen.

Amazingly, many people were thrilled with the "death" of the Black Pearl, even posting in honor of the illustrious ship on some social networks. As Jack Sparrow said, "The Black Pearl means ... Freedom." Unfortunately, this freedom is now at the bottom of the sea.
