Optical illusion: white dots in orbit? Look again [video]

When watching the video below, what exactly do you see? A circle made up of white dots, rotating within a red circle? The same white dots, orbiting around an invisible dot? This is not wrong, of course. However, when you take a closer look - being taken by the hand by the creators of the video - the magic reveals itself.

In fact, the optical illusion above was composed of the brusspup channel by synchronizing several points that actually simply run the diameter of the largest (red) circumference. This is the classic concept of “cycloid”, in which a straight object is able to describe curves according to the movement of any eccentric point.
