What is the difference between the food served in different classes of a flight?

In addition to the more spacious and comfortable armchairs, on-board services and some other pampering, first class is different from economy class - which, by the way, was previously called third class - for a very special reason: the food.

Those who opt for the cheapest fare usually get their food in plastic containers with more or less cutlery and a food that, while not bad, is not a feast either. Already those who buy the most exclusive spaces on airplanes have their meal most often served on a real plate with cutlery that are sometimes better than the ones we have at home.

More than anything else, however, the visual part is most clearly showing the differences between first class, business class, and economy class. Some people are registering meals with some airlines, and the result you can see in the photos below:

Japan airlines

Difference between economic and business classes.

All Nippon Airways (ANA)

Some people will find it worth walking first class just to receive the Pokémon cup.

Air france

Personally, economy-class food looks a lot tastier, but being able to stand on slippers and legs extended during a long flight is a beautiful draw.

Emirates Airlines

The first-class dish looks more like a hotel dinner, but the economy-class one is NOTHING bad.

British airways

Interestingly, the second photo is just the first class appetizer.

Lufthansa

Pasta in the lunchbox tray makes the economy class win hearts.

United

Apart from the absence of a nice plate and cutlery, until the food doesn't look that bad.

Of course it goes with everyone's taste and pocket, but some comments highlight that economy-class foods seem far more appetizing and "home-cooked" than other classes.
