15 optical illusions created from a single sheet of paper
You may have seen countless examples of hyper-realistic three-dimensional images created by skilled artists. They use the streets, ordinary objects, and even their skin as painting canvases to bring to life the most varied creatures and figures that seem to leap from the plane on which they were drawn to reality.
Here at Mega Curioso we have published several articles about their work, but we had never approached this kind of art made with pencil and brush on simple sheets of paper. It was with this in mind that we decided to search the internet, and came across the work of two super talented artists who, each with their own style, specialize in playing with perspective to create sensational optical illusions.
The two in question, the Japanese Nagai Hideyuki and the Chilean Wladimir Inostroza - or Fredo - take advantage of the light, shadow and angle at which the designs are admired. And, according to the artists, depending on the complexity of each project, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an entire month to complete.
