Amapô - Winter 2012

Amapô went even further this winter, creating a collection of looks that it has no intention of wearing. The designers' inspiration came from the AVAF print from Eli Sudbrack's “Assume Vivid Astro Focus” book, which shows many sketches and studies of the artist. As a result, the pieces seem to be just primary ideas, without being finalized.
There are many cutouts, leftovers and transparencies. Men try on the high waist, fit silhouette and cropped pieces on top. The materials for them are mixed with elastane. For them, the looks are more rigid, with pieces made of colored acrylic plates and radiography plates.
The prints range from some playful designs by Fabio Gurjão, digital color prints and jeans painted with white wall paint and then softened with a specific washing process.
