Aquarium with sharks breaks in Chinese mall [video]

According to the folks at AsianTown, a huge aquarium, located in a Chinese shopping center, broke down, flooding the place and injuring 56 people. According to the publication, the tank was seven meters long and three meters high, and had 25 cm thick acrylic walls.

Built two years ago within Shanghai's Orient Shopping Center, the aquarium was the main attraction, attracting the attention of a large number of visitors. Local authorities are still investigating the causes of the crash, but the mall management has announced that it intends to rebuild the tank.

Apparently the wounds were caused by the huge acrylic plates and the incredible force of the water, and no one seems to have been bitten by any of the seven sharks living in the aquarium. By the way, through the video and the images you can see in the gallery below, everything seems to indicate that none of the fish survived the accident, and two of them seem to have been taken by someone directly to a neighborhood pan.
