8 amazing stop-motion vines

Mashable partnered with Hawlett-Packard (HP) this week and asked readers to make stop-motion recordings showing things changing, posting them on Vine with the hashtag #HPBendTheRules.

The result brought videos of things spinning, changing and growing; objects, plants and animals changing. The site separated their favorite audiovisual creations and published. You can check them out below.

1. Magic Fruits

Systematically and gradually cutting each fruit, the creator of this vine made each of them plunge into the table.

2. The proverb

A 16th-century English-language saying goes: "If wishes were horses, beggars could ride them" - morality has to do with the fact that only wishing is useless, one must take action to have change. User Willy Sam then created this proverb illustration.

3. Turning a tripod into a complex sound equipment

It all starts with a tripod, which then gets the integration of a smartphone, then a headset, a screen and in the end we have a super elaborate contraption. Remember the constructive skills of OJ Simpson's character in "Run The Police Come Here"?

4. Animal Transformation

Nothing too surprising here. Toy animals spin and turn into animals of different species.

5. Turning my laptop into a forest

A laptop cover that works as a background, cutouts that form a garden with lawn and mushrooms, and a silent gnome.

6. Fresh Strawberry Processing

The creator of this vine made a montage in which, as he approached the magnifying glass of the candy, a strawberry was revealed in the larger view. The candy was fresher than it looked.

7. Coffee tastes boring this morning

In an interesting optical illusion trick, user Burt Cast Iron made a perfect reproduction of a coffee mug on a flat surface. After convincing the viewer that there was a real three-dimensional mug on the table comes the surprise.

8. Running the Pixel Path

Here was a joke with old bit video game. In the video, the character begins on a tablet screen, continues his path on the desktop computer screen, walks across the table and becomes reality.
