Meet the witch who uses magic and rituals to remove viruses from computers.

If you have ever had your computer ever afflicted with a powerful virus, then you know that there are some situations where there is no antivirus, malware shield or any other software that solves the problem. And it is precisely in situations where it seems necessary to appeal to “braba” prayer that some Northern California citizens have been appealing to the services of Wiccan witch Joey Talley.

The witch, who was also ordained a shepherd by her state, often offers more than traditional emotional work to take care of relationships, depression, and other ills that afflict her clients. Talley's professional repertoire also includes computer virus exorcism, which is quite consistent with his slogan: "No problem too big, small or weird."

Speaking to Motherboard reporter Tracy Chabala, the witch explained how she got her first clients for magical "tech support" services in the Silicon Valley region. According to Talley, a man who had previously hired her to perform business and success spells had been having trouble with an alarm in his office, and the company responsible for the device could not solve or understand the defect.

When the client called her, the witch went to the place, went into a trance and began to feel the energies of the environment. “I remember noticing a block inside the wall and removing it. [The businessman] had no more problems after that, ”says Talley.

Each case is different

According to the professional, their methods are diverse and vary from case to case, depending on the forces present. Thus, each situation involves a different type of action and should be evaluated calmly. Still, the witch says there are some stones that interact well with computers, such as chloride, jet or amethyst - although the latter does not work well with her.

Occasionally, Talley says casting spells or trapping an amulet somewhere on the computer, or providing a potion for the client to spray on the chair he uses before starting work. The witch says that so far she has not faced a virus or other technological problem she could not solve, but points out that this does not mean that she is perfect or that there is nothing more powerful than her.

Talley explains that there are various types of energy in the world, including entities that can be perceived by humans and others that remain hidden - which people often call ghosts, angels, spirits or demons, according to their beliefs. In this sense, "demons" should be understood as energy-consuming entities that always want to feed.

“Computers have vast deposits of electromagnetic energy as well as messages. Sometimes when a demon is on a PC, it's like a cockroach in the kitchen. Just eat and stay in his. But some work for someone who is trying to hurt you, and those are the hardest, ”says the witch. In such cases, Talley says he performs intense ceremonies and strong traps, as these harmful entities cannot be let loose in the world.

Lack of understanding

The witch says that most of her clients are self-employed individuals, not companies. In Talley's opinion, this is due to the fact that companies are afraid to shake their image by being labeled as ridiculous, devil-worshiping or other harmful labels. About the criticism that usually receives, the witch believes to be fruits of the lack of knowledge.

“Most of the time when people are being aggressive, repulsive or offensive, they end up asking incredibly dumb questions. They say very stupid things. And I learned to recommend: 'read The Spiral Dance. Then, if you have any questions, you can call me. You do not currently have enough information to ask logical questions or understand the answers. Read this book, 'which of course they don't want to do - they just want to hate it, ' he points out.
