Get ready to drool on the 5 most expensive hamburgers in the US

As you know, Americans - and most of the rest of the world - do not live without their hamburgers. But in addition to the traditional versions and even some rather strange creations, there are also exquisite and, of course, very, very expensive sandwiches.

So the very lucky folks at First We Feast decided to travel around the US looking for the most extravagant and "salty" hamburgers in the country, and you can see which were the five most expensive on the following list:

5 - Le Burger Extravagant

Price: $ 295 (just over $ 650).

Prepared by New York's Serendipity 3 restaurant, Le Burger Extravagant's hamburger is made from Japanese-made Wagyu beef soaked in white truffle butter, and the other ingredients in the stuffing include fried quail egg and caviar. In addition, the sandwich comes “garnished” with a gold toothpick with inlaid diamonds.

4 - The 666 Douche Burger

Price: $ 666 (about $ 1, 500).

The 666 Douche Burger hamburger - made by the folks at 666 Burger New York - is made with 6 gold leaves and foie gras. Then the carninha is topped with Gruyere cheese melted in champagne, lobster, truffles, caviar and Kopi Luwak coffee bean-enriched barbecue sauce, and it all comes in three $ 100 bills.

The most curious thing about 666 Douche Burger is that it is a creation of one of those common New York streetcars and, according to the “establishment” owner, the snack is served by a waiter wearing a fur coat. By the way, another interesting fact is that the word "douche" in English means "sucker" in Portuguese.

3 - The 777 Burger

Price: $ 777 (almost $ 1, 800).

This creation of the Las Vegas Burger Brasserie comes with a bottle of Dom Perignon. In the "stuffing", in addition to the beef burger, the 777 Burger also comes with lobster, imported Brie cheese, caramelized onions and crispy prosciutto - or cured Italian ham - all seasoned with 100-year-old balsamic vinegar.

In addition, customers can choose from a variety of breads that, in addition to traditional sesame breads, include ciabatta with sun-dried tomatoes, caramelized onion bread or parmesan-tanned bread.

2 - The Absolutely Ridiculous Burger

Price: $ 1, 999 (just over $ 4, 500).

In the case of the wee “Absolutely Ridiculous Burger”, diners are also paying for the amount. The snack is prepared by the Mallies Sports Grill & Bar in Michigan and has 540, 000 calories and over 150 pounds. Among the ingredients, the monster has almost 7 pounds of lettuce, over 16 pounds of cheese and almost 14 pounds of tomatoes, not to mention that the sandwich takes 22 hours to complete.

1 - The Fleurburger 5000

Price: $ 5, 000 (just over $ 11, 200).

Prepared by Fleur's Las Vegas restaurant, Fleurburger is not only the most expensive hamburger in the US, but the entire planet. The "carninha" comes with foie gras and black truffles, and instead of the common bread, the snack is made with truffle-infused brioche. In place of the fries, the accompaniment is a bottle of Chateu Petrus 1995 that actually costs $ 5, 300. This means that technically the hamburger comes from toast with the wine.
