Is it true? Giant snake image runs the world

The image you see below in this news story has been around the world since 2012. Some sources claim that this snake was caught in North Carolina, others say it was in China.

However, a new video posted this month belies these locations, stating that the finding occurred in Indonesia, more precisely on November 1, 2012 in the Belinyu district of Bangka-Belitung province.

According to the video from Epic WildLife, the image is true, but the presenter says the size of the animal may not be as large as it looks in the image and that the size may be the effect of the angle of the photo.

There was a snake in the way

What is known, however, is that the snake was accidentally killed during this machine excavation, which caused a shock to the workers doing the work. According to the video, the reptile (of the Python species) was inside an old tree trunk, which was hit by the excavator.
